A concession within the National Park at Bologonja, is located in the northern sector of the park, close to the Kenyan border and the Mara reserve. The area is within the great migration route, with the concession area providing a construction area of 5km radius within the concession area. An exclusivity zone is an area of 20km radius.
The proposals are at an early stage of investigation and are currently being tested in terms of the investment viability and market demand. The design concept is being developed which will create an offering of 60 keys, with three different lodge types. The design concepts create three different lodge types within an overall framework of minimal intrusion in the natural landscape of this world heritage site. Low energy strategies and waste management systems are integrated within the overall architectural response.
